The Blessings of Obedience

Trusting God is critical for all.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.Proverbs 3:5-6

It was a Sunday morning after church. Tonya and I fed the kids and I immediately changed to go mow the front lawn. George of the jungle was calling. The weather was grueling but I knew this was a task that needed to he accomplished.

I got the inspiration to bless my girls, so I cleared the area of any debris that could harm them. I moved both vehicles to the street, in front of the house. Tonya noticed the vehicles missing and I told her why:

"I want to open the garage so the girls can ride their bikes!"

I finished up the lawn, went inside to shower up and I asked that the girls put on relaxing clothes. I didn't specify why! But the girls began asking questions. Only one had been dressed for bike riding, and I sat, waiting to bless them.
